Mental health difficulties are one of the leading causes of absenteeism and presenteeism in the workplace, affecting concentration, decision-making, memory, and motivation. Just as physical first aid is provided until professional medical treatment is available, Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) offers timely, appropriate support until professional help is secured or the situation resolves.
Our Mental Health First Aid course is an internationally acclaimed, evidence-based training programme that empowers individuals with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to support a friend, family member, or colleague who may be experiencing a mental health problem or mental health crisis. This comprehensive course combines theoretical knowledge with practical skills development, preparing participants to recognise emerging mental health issues, intervene early, and guide people towards appropriate support.
The course is designed for everyone – no prior mental health experience or clinical background is required. It is delivered in plain language with a focus on practical, skills-based learning that can be applied immediately in the workplace, community, or personal life.
