Basic Life Support Course

Basic Life Support Course

Basic Life Support (BLS) is the foundation for saving lives after cardiac arrest. Our BLS course is designed specifically for healthcare professionals and first responders who need to know how to perform high-quality CPR and other life-saving skills in a wide range of in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings.

Unlike standard CPR training, BLS goes beyond basic techniques to include critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills essential for effective emergency response. This comprehensive programme prepares participants to promptly recognise life-threatening emergencies, deliver high-quality chest compressions, provide appropriate ventilations, and operate an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) with confidence.

This course combines theoretical knowledge with practical hands-on training, ensuring participants are equipped to respond swiftly and effectively when every second counts.

Who Should Attend?

BLS certification is essential for any clinician or professional involved in direct patient care or emergency response. This course is suitable for:

  • Healthcare Professionals: Doctors, nurses, paramedics, and EMTs

  • Allied Health Professionals: Physical therapists, respiratory therapists, dental professionals, and radiographers

  • First Responders: Police officers, firefighters, and rescue personnel

  • Healthcare Students: Those training for careers in medicine, nursing, or allied health
